Writing
From our creative partner in Gurugram, Haryana just outside of Delhi in India
Today’s poem is taken from Dr. Shruti Shankar Gaur’s book Four Decades , The Prose of My Life, Section 1 titled Inner Chaos.
My writer friends inspire me, They write with such diversity I am like, “Wow, man!” “I love your curiosity.” And when I scan what I write, The same pattern I find, Every poem is based on ‘me’ My quest to know myself and Thee. If you meet me, I may have my mask on, I may dodge you by smiling. You won’t discover my heart’s whining, But that doesn’t work with the writing. Writing is a sort of meditation, I write in a state of flow, I believe in every word that comes through me, My writing mirrors the authenticity. Thus, I continue writing my morning journal, Churning my soul for more adventure, Through my writing, I surrender To my own soul’s hunger.
