“Such a shame God above won’t allow a redo
For if he did, I would never have you.”
Stinging words inflict a vicious bite
Surely I can't be hearing you right
 
“You’re a pain, a burden; you hold me back
Without you around, I could get on track.”
Chilling words cut to the core
Wounding the heart with a lasting sore
 
“Your presence repels me, fills me with disgust
But duties remain, so care for you I must.”
Dreadful words take root deep within
Try to be good, but impossible to win
 
“It’s because of you nothing is right
Go! Disappear! Get out of my sight!”
Murderous words annihilate the soul
Maybe, just maybe, that was always the goal
